As many of you may know, I write music for television and commercials! In the world of commercials, we often like to keep lyrics really light and happy. Positivity sells products! The best kind of positivity, however, is the genuine kind. Be TOO happy, and it seems fake. When I wrote this song, I wanted to take that kind of saccharine positivity, and see how I could make it feel real and genuine to my own life experiences. I think it worked?
